Abstract

The fate of the divided nations is to constantly live in the stare of tension. Just in case the divided countries are given the chance to be reunified, to what extent each regime can deal with the opportunity? It is a very significant question to be answered by the leaders of each nation. And to properly answer this question the leaders of the nations should be prepared to relatively compare the military, economic and fundamental powers among Korea, North Korea, Taiwan and China. Each and every country of the world efforts to measure national power. However, few researches attempt to conduct comparative analysis among the 4 countries. Most of the nation power index consist of diverse subcomponents such as economic power, military power and fundamental power. Comparison with diverse countries can suggest weakness and strength of each country. This study will compare to national power of S. Korea and China, and can suggest to future direction of development which S. Korea become strong and influence country in the world.
